Is This Your First Visit to our Office?

Here’s what to expect: You will complete a patient information & medical history form upon arrival. Once you are seated for your cleaning the hygienist will do a complete mouth series of x-rays, clean your teeth & have Dr. Pedersen come in to do your exam & oral cancer screening. We typically have you come for a check-up & cleaning every 6 months to maintain your oral health. If you are here for a toothache, the assistant will do x-rays & Dr. Pedersen will do an exam and discuss the best option of treatment.

New Protocols In Place For Our Office

Our staff is dedicated to sustaining a safe environment for all of our patients as well as for themselves. Some of the new safety measures are as follows:

  • We are wearing additional personal protection equipment
  • We will ask that you call upon arrival and wait in your car for us to motion you in
  • You will be required to wear a mask to your appointment
  • We ask that you sanitize your hands prior to and after your dental appointment; hand sanitizer is provided at the front desk
  • We will take our patients’ temperatures
  • Please be prepared to pay your copay after your appointment

These new protocols will help maintain a safe environment while we take care of your dental needs.

We Accept Most Insurances and Medicaid

We are committed to providing the most cost effective dental care available today. Our professional commitment to excellence is reflected in our fees. We make every effort to control costs by using the best methods available. We need your assistance and understanding of our payment policy in order to help us meet our goal.

Payment is expected at the time services are provided. If you are in need of extensive dental care a financial arrangement can be made with our office. For your convenience we accept cash, check, Visa and Mastercard.

We also accept Care Credit which lets you begin treatment immediately. You can then pay it over time with low payments that fit your monthly budget. Care Credit is similar to a credit card but is exclusive to healthcare services only. Care Credit offers a low monthly payment plan for healthcare procedures not commonly covered by insurance, including dental treatment. You can learn more by visiting CareCredit.com.

The most common insurances we work with are MCNA (Medicaid), Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United HealthCare along with a list of others. Please know your insurance plan, paying attention to benefit maximum, deductible, covered percentages, and services that may have waiting periods (i.e. extractions, dentures, and bridges).

You are responsible for any unpaid balances after insurance per your agreement with your insurance company. We base our treatment for each individual case on what’s best for you and your dental health. Your benefits are based on an agreement between your employer and the insurance company.

When services are rendered payment is expected at that time. This includes any co-pays or deductibles.

Our office accepts: Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover

For the convenience of our cash patients, we can arrange a payment plan. We can give you a pre-estimate of the cost of your dental work and you can determine how much you want to do at each visit.
